So we have been having so much fun in this nice weather. Here are a few pics of what we have been doing. Sam saw this basketball at our neighbor Shelley's house and confiscated it. He loves to play ball now. Thank you Shelley for letting us borrow your ball. (Or I guess I should say not being mad when we called to tell you we stole it. Hehe.)

I can't believe how much change a year can make. Last year Connor couldn't drive the fire truck at all and now he is a pro. I am so glad he takes Sam for rides. I can then relax and sit on the porch and watch them for a minute instead of chasing them. We have had to Bungee (sp) cord the two of them in bc we learned the hard way a couple times that Sam doesn't hold on very tight while he's riding. But thanks to daddy we have ourselves a make-shift seat belt.

Sam has recently discovered Maggies baby dolls. This one particular baby makes a sucking sound when you put it's paci in it's mouth and cries when you take it out. He thinks that is sooo funny.

In case you were wondering yes we do also have a daughter but at 8 it's like she has a life of her own now. I can't say I am particularly fond of it but she gets home from school and plays Barbies in her room or goes to the neighbor and plays. This growing up and being independent thing is hard for a momma. I feel like we never have a good photo op moment. I am going to work on that though.
We are getting geared up for a party weekend. Maggie is going to our neighbors birthday party on Friday and she's having her own party Saturday and we are having a party for Keith's grandma on Sunday so be ready for some more pics. Hope all is well for all of you.

Update

So things here have been pretty crazy lately...

Not long after my last post I got sick. Which never happens bc moms don't get sick. They just can't bc there is no time for that. Anyways I ran out to the quick care and they said I had an ear infection and a sinus infection. I finished my antibiotic a few days ago and now guess what it is back. I can't hear at all and I have just a low grade fever. Just enough to make you not feel well. My kids are still running around like crazy so I had better get over this real quick bc it's no fun. Sam and Connor have been sick too. Sam was coughing and really snotty so I was going to take him to the dr so I just had them look at Connor to bc he had been coughing some as well. Connor had a double ear infection and sore throat and Sam had an ear infection and sore throat and a wheeze in his chest. They ended up with like 6 prescriptions between the 2 of them. I hope Spring puts an end to all of this.

As far as my job interview goes I think it went pretty well. I don't know if it is really going to be a job that I am interested in though. The job is for an X-ray tech which is what I went to school for but another part of this job is drawing blood for all the lab test that they do there. I don't know if I would really want to do that. Its one thing if its an adult but I don't know if I would want to have to do it to little kids. It just makes me nervous. I guess if I was properly trained it would be ok but yuck! The hours are really long and you are the only one there doing all the xrays and lab work. It just sounds really busy to me. On a happy note though I did find a babysitter. She is an older lady who cooks for Keith's grandparents. She has been coming over at least once a week and spending a couple hours with the kids so I can go out and do the things I need to do without the kids. It has been so nice. I am thinking who needs a job. I will just hire this lady to come over and I will go out and spend my husbands money. That sounds like alot more fun to me. Lol. We'll see what happens. They haven't offered me the job yet. Maybe they won't.

We have entered birthday season. We just celebrated my moms, my sisters, and my brother in law over the last couple weeks. Keiths moms is Friday. Keith's two grandmas are the 21st and 22nd (His grandma Helen will be 90 on the 21st). Mag's is the 23 and Connor's is the 28th. So starting next week we will be having some birthday parties. I love a party but they can be exhasuting. The preparation and clean up can be a killer. I am having a party for Grandma Helen bc she is going to be 90. I think that is something to be celebrated. Wish me luck.

Anyways I will post some new pics of our recent happenings soon. Hope you are all doing well and having a good week.

Happy Birthday Mom!!

So the 26th is my mom's 50th birthday so this weekend we went to E-ville out to eat, to see Avatar at the imax theater in 3-D (btw it was pretty awesome) and then we went to the casino for a little while. It was a nice time. We hardly get to see each other without six kids running around (between mine and my sisters kids). Just thought you guys might want to see how awesome we all looked in our 3-D glasses. Caution: Do not go to this movie if you are trying to look cool because I don't think it is possible to look cool in these glasses. Lol. We got a good laugh out of each other. Mom and Dad

My sister April and her husband Josh

Keith and I- I am looking super sweet in the glasses. Hehe. Here are a couple of other cute pics of my little guys I wanted to share.

Anyways that is what has been going on around here lately. I should have a phone interview for the job I am hoping to get. Cross your fingers it goes well. By the way I am not getting any closer to finding a babysitter for that one day a week so I would be happy to hear any suggestions any of you might have. Hope you have a good week.....

Suggestions Please...

I am thinking about going back to work part time if things work out like I hope. I have been wanting to get a part time job since Connor was born but then I had Sam and then things have just been to hectic to worry about it. Out of the blue last night a woman from Jasper called me to see if I would be interested in a job at the Urgent Care Clinic there. It is only 1 day a week and every 3rd weekend which is right up my alley. I am not wanting to leave my kids and go back to work full time but I would love to get out of the house some. My main concern though is what am I going to do with my kids this one day a week? Any suggestions? I am looking to find someone who could come to the house this one day a week and stay with the kids. Do any of you know anyone who does anything like that? It is hard to get excited about going to work when you have to worry about your kids. I think that is why I have never looked to hard yet. Let me know if any of you know anyone who may be interested....

Hanging Out!!

So I love the snow and I don't even mind it hanging around. I think its so pretty and if I don't have anywhere to go at least this way Mags has been able to stay home and keep me company for a couple extra days. I do mind the snow however when I have to go places and over the last couple days I have been running around town like crazy. It makes me nervous to drive on it. I am pretty sure we are going to be the old couple where the woman never drives she just sits in passenger seat and complains about her husbands driving the whole time. Haha. Keith's grandparents decided they were moving home from the Legends and are in the process of moving back today. There were lots of preparation having to go into getting them back home and that is my where I come in. I have made arrangements to get them a cook to come to their house 2x a day and a nurse to come in 3x daily to make sure her meds are all in order. It has just became a bigger job now days than I can take on by myself and for their own safety it has to be this way. . Hopefully this will make them happy and everything will work out for the best.

Ok so my kids have had the colds and stuff and are finally getting over it. PTL. Now Connor has Pink Eye in both of his eyes. Someone tell me when you put those drops in does it hurt? Bc he literally cried for an hour after we put them in. It is bad enough that we have to hold him down to put the drops in but then he screams like he is in pain. I can't wait for this to clear up. Anyone have any tips on getting these drops in less traumatically please let me know.

Other than that I am just kind of trying to stay warm and remind myself that my kids won't be little forever so even though I am not allowed to put up the vacuum ever (bc my son is still obsessed with it- it's almost become like a piece of furniture bc it is always out in the living room), my house has toys scattered throughout, and I feel slightly crazy half the time I am going to look back on this someday and want these days back.

Here are just a few pics of what's been going on around here lately.... This is what my husband looks like after supper everyday. Asleep in the chair. The real physical labor of the coal mine really wears him out. You may notice the toy vacuum next to Keith's arm. (Not only does Connor play with the real one all the time he and Sam have their own toy ones as well. Lol)

Sam taking a quick dip.
Connor and the monkey towel. The only towel he will use.

Just goofing around.

Connor and his bf Nolan. How funny is it that Nolan always wants to wear this power ranger costume and these yellow gloves. He calls them his Mustard gloves. They are trouble x 2 but boys will be boys and they sure do have fun.
Anyways hope everyone is having a good week.

Happy Valentines Day!!

So this is obviously from our wedding almost 9 years ago. It came from my album of proofs bc guess what I really have no idea what I did with my wedding pictures. (I am guessing I put them in the basement in a box. What a wife. I can't even find my wedding pics. They kind of got put on the back burner when all our wedding pictures slowly got replaced by baby pictures.) I am not a real wedding person anyways. I kind of wish now we would have went somewhere beachy and got married. I never cared to much about what kind of flowers or what color dresses or any of that kind of thing. Yes I am really a woman just not one that ever was dreaming of a wedding. I don't even know why I got on that topic so anyways....
Here it is Valentines Day and I am thinking of some reasons why I am such a lucky lady. Here are some reasons I am lucky to have Mr. Keith Lynch as my husband.
He is sooo handsome.
He changes a mean poopy diaper.
He worries about me and the kids all the time.
He thinks my muffin top is sexy.
He tells me all the time it looks like I am losing weight (even though I usually have not and I am pretty sure he know it).
He always lets me be right. Because he knows I am. Lol.
He works hard and provides for our family and allows me to stay home with the kids.
He can make the bed really nice.
He lets me have the remote when we get in bed.
He always asks me if I want to drive before we go somewhere bc he knows he scares me when he drives.
He assures me someday we will go on a vacation. ( You know just the 2 of us)
He thinks PMS last 3 weeks of the month and you have 1 good week.
He tells me I look pretty when he comes home from work and I haven't had a shower and am still in my PJ's.
He is the best dad. When he comes home from work he chases the kids around and wrestles them for a while bc he knows I need a break.
He is dealing with the fact that he will never be my dad. (You know how you say well my dad would have done it this way.)
Anyways.... I could go on all day. I look at our wedding picture and think how much we have changed over the past decade. I hate to get sappy and I try to not do feelings but the one thing that hasn't changed is how much I love him. Happy Valentines Day.

Lynch-McCain Photo Shoot

So this summer my friend Lindsay and I decided that we didn't have nearly enough pictures of ourselves together. After being best friends for a decade and then some we hardly have any pictures of ourselves together. So Lindsay's sister Samantha is starting to do some photography for people so we called her up and she came to our house and took some pictures of our families together. Here are a just a few I wanted to share. (These were taken the end of October and I had misplaced the disk and I just found it the other day. Praise the Lord for letting me find it) Maggie and Hannah
This is the whole group of kids. Maggie, Sam, Connor, Nolan, Hannah, and Will.

I am pretty sure our husbands were acting like they were peeing. They aren't right and they never have been but they are sure good for a laugh. The rest don't need any explanation.

So anyways these are our bestfriends the McCains. The people we wouldn't make it without. Hope you are all having a good week.
